BeneCheck is the portable monitoring brand of General Life Biotechnology, manufacturing in Taiwan since 1999, based on electrochemical measurement. Alongside multi-parameter meters the range includes series focused on a single parameter; we supply and sell the full portfolio.

Product series
The BeneCheck portfolio spans multi-monitoring systems that measure several parameters on one device and compact meters focused on a single parameter. The choice follows the number of parameters measured and how often they are measured.

Measured parameters
The systems work on an amperometric electrochemical principle. Measurement time varies by parameter: glucose returns a result in about 5 seconds, uric acid in 15 and total cholesterol in 26.
Ketone and hemoglobin models were added to the portfolio later; on ketone meters, hematocrit correction reduces interference from red blood cells.

Multi-parameter or single parameter?
Multi-monitoring systems combine three parameters in one device, reducing device count and cost where several measurements are taken; automatic strip recognition means no extra step is needed to switch modes.
Single-parameter series are the more economical option where only one measurement is taken. Strip cost and measurement frequency are the two deciding factors.
Strip and consumable supply
On portable monitoring systems continuity lives in the test strip. Strips carry expiry dates and their compatibility with each device is defined by the manufacturer.
We set up scheduled strip shipments based on your consumption and track lot numbers and expiry dates together with you.
Frequently asked questions
- Which parameters do BeneCheck meters measure?
- Multi-monitoring systems measure glucose, total cholesterol and uric acid. The Knight series measures β-ketone (BHB), or glucose together with ketone, and calculates GKI automatically. The Uni and Premium series focus on a single parameter; the Uni Hemoglobin and Hb models measure hemoglobin.
- How do I choose between a multi-parameter and a single-parameter meter?
- The deciding factors are the number of parameters measured and how often. If several parameters are measured regularly, a multi-monitoring system reduces device count and total cost. For a single parameter the Uni or Premium series is more economical.
- Which strips are used?
- Each parameter has its own test strip, defined per device series. Automatic strip recognition on multi-monitoring systems selects the measurement mode based on the strip inserted.
- Is strip supply continuous?
- We set up scheduled shipments based on your consumption. Because strips carry expiry dates, we size stock against your usage rate and track lots and expiry dates with you.
